Hi, I'm Declan

When I was younger, I watched a lot of Casey Neistat videos. I really wanted a boosted board, but I didn't have any money. So I took apart my RC car and built one.

In middle school I imported Rubik's cubes from China and sold them in school. I also sold pop sockets door to door in my neighborhood.

In high school I got really into sneakers. I started reselling them and started a company around it.

I went to Cal for college, where I met Derrick and we started working on projects together. Our first was an alarm app that lets you record a message that plays as your friend's alarm.

We worked on 10+ different things after that. Apps, websites, we even thought about starting a notebook company. Most of them failed. But we failed enough times that eventually a few things worked.

I dropped out of school, traveled a bunch, and made a lot of memories.

But I came back to San Francisco to find my life's work.

Now I'm working on SLAM & CO, a brand for people pursuing their life's work.

I think more and more people are going to go down their own alternate life path, and we want to be a part of that. It's still early days, but I'm proud of what we're building. You can follow along on Instagram.
